Everything you need to know about buying, selling, and licensing music on Audioryx.
Audioryx is the world's largest beat marketplace, connecting music producers with artists and creators. Producers upload and sell their beats; buyers browse, preview, and license them instantly. Everything from Trap and Hip-Hop to Afrobeats, Electronic, and Orchestral is available on the platform.
Yes. Browsing and previewing beats is completely free — no account required. Creating a free account lets you purchase licenses, upload beats, and engage with the community. We offer paid subscription tiers (Basic, Pro, Label) for producers who need higher upload limits and advanced features.
Audioryx serves two main groups: music producers who want to monetize their catalog, and artists/creators who need licensed beats for their music. Whether you're a bedroom producer, a signed artist, a YouTube creator, or a major label — Audioryx has tools for you.
Audioryx offers lower platform fees than competitors (starting at 10% on Pro vs. the industry standard of 20–30%), faster payouts (within 48 hours on Pro), built-in marketing automation, AI-powered discovery, collab tools, and beat challenges. We also auto-generate legally binding license PDFs at checkout.
Create a free account, browse the marketplace, preview any beat in full, and click 'License' on the one you want. Choose your license type (Basic, Premium, or Exclusive), pay securely via card or PayPal, and your license PDF plus the audio files are instantly available for download.
Yes. Every beat on Audioryx can be previewed in full before purchase. Previews are streamed at lower quality with a watermark — purchased files are delivered as clean, full-quality downloads.
Immediately after checkout, you receive: (1) a confirmation email with your license PDF attached, (2) a download link in your account dashboard for the audio files (MP3 and/or WAV, depending on your license type), and (3) a record in your purchases history.
Due to the digital nature of beat licenses, all sales are final once the files have been downloaded. If you have not yet downloaded the files and believe a purchase was made in error, contact our support team within 24 hours and we will review your case.
Yes, but the license tier matters. A Basic License allows non-commercial use and personal projects. A Premium License allows commercial releases, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube monetization. An Exclusive License transfers full commercial rights. Always check the specific license terms for the beat you purchase.
Create a producer account, complete your profile, and connect a Stripe payout account to receive earnings. Then upload your first beat — add a title, genre tags, BPM, key, and set your prices for each license type. Your beat goes live immediately after upload.
For the beat preview, we accept MP3, WAV, and FLAC. For deliverable stems, you can upload ZIP files containing WAV stems, project files, or any combination you choose to offer buyers. The platform handles encoding for preview streaming automatically.
Free accounts can upload 5 beats per month. Basic accounts get 50 per month. Pro and Label accounts have unlimited uploads. There is no limit on how many beats you can have active in your catalog at any time.
Yes. You can set an exclusive price for any beat. When a buyer purchases an exclusive license, the beat is automatically removed from the marketplace, and you receive a notification. You can also mark a beat as 'exclusive only' to prevent non-exclusive sales.
Pro and Label subscribers can automatically distribute beats to YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram with AI-generated titles, descriptions, and hashtags. This runs on a schedule you control from your dashboard, letting you market your catalog 24/7 without manual effort.
A non-exclusive license allows you to use the beat commercially while the producer retains the right to sell the same beat to other buyers. Most beats on Audioryx are available non-exclusively, meaning your license is valid regardless of how many others purchase it.
An exclusive license transfers all commercial rights to you. The beat is removed from the marketplace after purchase, no one else can buy or use it, and you receive the master recording rights. Exclusive licenses typically include all stems and source files.
Yes. Every Audioryx license is a legally binding contract generated automatically at the time of purchase. The PDF includes your name, the producer's name, the beat title, usage rights, territory, and duration. Audioryx's license agreements were drafted by music attorneys and are enforceable under U.S. copyright law.
Credit requirements depend on the license type. Basic Licenses require producer credit (e.g., 'Produced by [Producer Name]'). Premium and Exclusive Licenses may waive this requirement — check the specific license terms on the beat's purchase page.
Connect your Stripe account from your producer dashboard. Earnings are held for a brief clearance period (7 days on Free, 48 hours on Pro, 24 hours on Label) and then released to your Stripe balance. You can withdraw to your bank account from there. We support payouts in 30+ countries.
Buyers can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and Apple Pay. All payments are processed securely via Stripe and PayPal. Audioryx does not store your card information.
Audioryx takes a percentage of each sale: 15% on Free, 12% on Basic, 10% on Pro, and 5% on Label. These fees cover payment processing, platform hosting, CDN delivery, and customer support. There are no monthly listing fees — you only pay when you sell.
